Covid-19 situation in QC now at moderate risk level

PNA file photo MANILA - The coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) situation in Quezon City is now at a moderate risk level after the number of its daily average cases increased. To combat the further spread of Covid-19, the city government has been stepping up its vaccination program. As of Thursday, it was reported that 2,490,179 adults and minors in the city are now fully vaccinated after receiving two doses of the Covid-19 jabs or the single-dose Janssen vaccine. The total Covid-19 vaccine doses it administered is now 6,025,598. Of the number, 2,266,124 adults and 376,059 minor children 5 to 17 years old, with or without comorbidities, have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine while 1,022,321 have received their booster shot. In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the city government said data provided by the Octa Research Group showed that the number of its Covid-19 daily average cases rose to 50 from 32 last week. The city's positivity rate also increased to 4.0 from 3.0 ....
