Adults aged above 80 in more than 10 provinces of Peru s southern Cusco region will receive the first vaccine dose against COVID-19 on May 5 and 6, the Regional Health Management Office (Geresa) in Cusco announced on Tuesday. Thus, vaccination centers will be set up in the following towns: Anta, Calca, Pisac, Urubamba, Santa Ana, Maranura, Sicuani, Tinta, Checacupe, Marangani, Acomayo, Paruro, Accha, Yaurisque, Urcos, Quiquijana, Oropesa, Ccatcca, Ocongate, Paucartambo, Challabamba, Colquepata, and Huancarani. On the other hand, the immunization process in the provinces of Chumbivilcas and Espinar will be announced in due course.
