Nichelle Womble, Ocala, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation s oldest all-discipline collegiate honor society. Womble was initiated at Nova Southeastern University.
CF students win vocal awards 
College of Central Florida students won numerous vocal awards in February at the virtual Central Florida National Association of Teachers of Singing chapter audition, according to a news release from CF.
Jillian Capps received first place in Second Year Music Theatre Treble Voice; Kelli Piel received second place in First Year Music Theatre Treble Voice; and Madi DeLonge received third place in First Year Musical Treble Voice. Tuscawilla Park: Ocala history for sale to benefit preservation


The nonprofit Historic Ocala Preservation Society is selling a piece of Ocala history.
A vacant lot at 206 NE Sanchez Ave., in the heart of the Tuscawilla Park Historic District, was donated in September to HOPS by the city following a foreclosure. It is now on the market.
The property is being sold with proceeds benefiting HOPS preservation and research projects. The asking price is $25,000.
Located on the northwest corner of Northeast Second Street and Northeast Sanchez Avenue, the parcel measures 0.22 acres, according to county records.
The lot is zoned for a single-family house and architecture must be approved by the Ocala Historic Preservation Advisory Board, according to the city. ....
