New permit applications filed with the city of Ocala show that two new national restaurant chains, another car wash, two new convenience stores and an extensive renovation of another Publix are on the horizon.
Today the Star-Banner looks at building permit applications that have been filed within the city limits of Ocala since late December.
Storming Crab seafood
A family owned national seafood chain called Storming Crab Boil Cajun Seafood is planning to open in the old Ruby Tuesday building, 3500 SW College Road.
The restaurant is billed as a casual-dining, Cajun and Louisiana-style seafood eatery.
A document filed on Jan. 19 by Fudin Construction states that it will install $20,000 worth of new kitchen equipment in the old Ruby Tuesday for the building owner, Ocala Park Limited Partnership. ....
