Many Thanks on Behalf of Brother

To the Editor:
I want to thank the folks in Watertown and Woodbury who reached out to our family since my brother Barry passed away recently at age 75.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Marie “Reene” Butterly; their daughter, Dawn Hughes and her husband, Danny, and the apple of Barry’s eye, his granddaughter, Zoe.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 7, at Barry’s hometown parish, St. John’s Parish in Watertown.
Barry graduated from St. John’s School in 1959. Friends and family are directed to meet directly at the church. There are no calling hours.
Barry was a Watertown kid all the way. He grew up on Main Street, working for his father at Butterly’s Coffee Shop. He played baseball for the Oakville Red Sox with close friends Bobby Palmer, Alan Gustafson and Tony Faressa as teammates. ....
