OAKLAND (BCN)
Firefighters protected a whale discovered in the Oakland Estuary Sunday evening, the Oakland Fire Department reported on Twitter. The department s Marine 1 fireboat responded to the report of the whale, and its Water Rescue Team established a safety zone, staying with the animal until it transited out of the of estuary.
