UNISON 'delighted' after former school kitchen manager wins constructive dismissal claim against ISS UK

A tribunal in Leeds made the judgement after a four-day hearing in September.
Carol Dewrow worked as a full-time trade union convenor, representing school cleaning and catering staff working for ISS UK Ltd in Wakefield.
She had been seconded into that role after working in the kitchens herself at West End Academy in Pontefract and as a part-time cleaner at Oakfield Park School in Ackworth.
A tribunal was told that after a series of disputes with management, Mrs Dewrow was put under incredible pressure to resign and return to her old post, which would effectively force her to take a pay cut. ....
