“Definitely a bitter-sweet feeling because I know that I gave this school my all,” McGill said.
A four-year starter, McGill is a standout star on the girl’s basketball team. However, she started playing well before going to Providence. Her parents could see her talent early on.
“We finally got her in basketball in first grade and she took to it like a duck to water and became one of the best players in that first year,” Nyla’s father, Raymond McGill said.
She’s still one of the best players all these years later. She’s been an all-conference player every season and last year she was the player of the year in her conference.
