Grand Rapids Business Journal Courtesy Dienetics The owner of a Jenison-based manufacturer sold the company to an out-of-state buyer. Bruce Krouskop, president of Jenison-based Dienetics Inc., sold his business to Rockford, Illinois-based Excelsior Inc., according to NuVescor Group. NuVescor, a mergers and acquisitions service provider based in Hudsonville, advised Dienetics in the transaction. Terms of the deal, which was completed earlier this spring, were not disclosed. “We are excited about adding Dienetics to our manufacturing group,” said Mike Abrahams, president and owner of Excelsior. “The company and its employees bring an excellent history and deep knowledge within the automotive, medical and other industry segments that we intend to continue and build upon.” ....
Grand Rapids Business Journal Courtesy Rua M&A A West Michigan mergers and acquisitions firm is restructuring the way it serves clients to provide a more targeted level of service. Hudsonville-based Rua M&A, comprised of NuVescor Group and Rua Associates, said Tuesday that it is restructuring to create a dedicated focus for each brand. As part of the changes, President Randy Rua will focus on working with companies that have always been a large part of the NuVescor brand target manufacturing and manufacturing support, production, engineering and distribution. Nick Good, who currently is handling buyer negotiations for all NuVescor and Rua Associates projects, will focus instead on working with companies that have been in line with the Rua Associates target market of information technology, construction/trades and business services. Good, a NuVescor employee for the past eight years, will now partner with Rua Associates and work on Rua Associates projects. He ....
Grand Rapids Business Journal Courtesy Seabrook Plastics A Grand Haven plastic injection molding company acquired a similar company in Norton Shores. Grand Haven-based Molding Solutions acquired Norton Shores-based Seabrook Plastics last month, according to Hudsonville-based NuVescor Group, the mergers and acquisitions firm that advised Seabrook on the transaction. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Molding Solutions, with operations at 1734 Airpark Drive in Grand Haven, offers plastic injection molding, product development, engineering, assembly, tooling management and development, and product development assistance. The company is known for its “flexibility, quick response and direct approach to projects and support,” NuVescor said. It is ISO 9001:2015 certified and uses electric and hydraulic horizontal presses, as well as vertical and rotary platen presses, for custom molding and insert molding. ....
