Coronavirus: 14,997 infected, 13,563 healed in Rangpur division 371 RANGPUR, Dec 17, 2020 (BSS) – A total of 14,997 people have been infected with coronavirus (COVID-19), and of them, 13,563 already healed in Rangpur division where the daily infection rate continues to show a declining trend in recent days. Health officials said the number of COVID-19 cases rose to 14,997 as 45 new patients were reported after testing 376 samples at the two COVID-19 Laboratories in the division on Wednesday with the daily infection rate of about 11.97 percent. Earlier, the daily infection rates were 12.50 percent on Tuesday, 15.16 percent on Monday, 16.15 percent on Sunday and 20.69 percent on Saturday last in the division. ....
COVID-19 cases cross 14,900 in Rangpur division 334 RANGPUR, Dec 15, 2020 (BSS) – The number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases has crossed the 14,900 marks in Rangpur division where the daily infection rate of the deadly virus is showing a fluctuating trend in recent days. “The number of coronavirus cases rose to 14,905 in the division with 57 more infections reported on Monday,” Focal Person of COVID-19 and Assistant Director (Health) for Rangpur division Dr. ZA Siddiqui told BSS today. The 57 positive cases were diagnosed after testing 376 samples at the two COVID-19 Laboratories in the division on Monday at the daily infection rate of about 15.16 percent. Earlier, the daily infection rates were 16.15 percent on Sunday, 20.69 percent on Saturday, 10.64 percent on Friday, 13.03 percent on Thursday and 15.42 on Wednesday last in the division. ....

Health officials said the number of COVID-19 cases rose to 14,848 as 47 new patients were reported after testing 291 samples at the two COVID-19 Laboratories in the division on Thursday with the daily infection rate of over 16.15 percent.
