Commuters will be hit by another round of strikes this week as the dispute between rail workers and train operating companies over pay, jobs and working conditions continues.
Aslef workers at 16 train operators will walk out tomorrow. Separately, members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) will walk out on the Underground both tomorrow and this Friday.
Members of the drivers union Aslef at 16 train operators in England have gone on strike today and will do so again on Wednesday, coinciding with the Tory party s annual conference.
Train drivers union Aslef confirmed that its workers will go on strike this Saturday, September 30 and next Wednesday, October 4. There will also be an RMT Tube strike on October 4 and 6.
