Driver faces manslaughter, DUII after 3 teens die in crash

Devin Kurtz, 18, of Estacada, was arrested after a crash on Springwater Road killed three people.
The driver in a fatal Memorial Day crash that killed three teenagers and injured another two has been arrested.
On Tuesday, June 1, 18 year old Estacada resident Devin Kurtz was booked in the Clackamas County Jail on three counts of second degree manslaughter, DUII, reckless endangering, reckless driving, third degree assault DUII and second degree criminal mischief. He had previously been in the hospital for treatment of a punctured lung.
Bail was set at $780,000.
A witness told Clackamas County Sheriff s deputies that Kurtz s black sedan was reportedly traveling on Springwater Road near Milo McIver State Park at around 9 p.m. Monday, May 31, when he appeared to lose control of the vehicle. The sedan crossed the center line of the road and collided with a white Ford F350 p ....
