The government also asked authorities to conduct a survey of such land parcels in their jurisdiction to ascertain the number of plots those were allotted to developers but are yet to be utilized and has been lying vacant for long.
The move follows the Uttar Pradesh government’s decision to do away with e-auctions and allot plots on the basis of interviews and other parameters such as company profile, turnover, work experience, etc.
