[laughter] i think socialism breeds mediocrity. that has no place in my life and no place in my children s life and hopefully no place in my grand children s life. socialism will destroy what is the beauty of america and beauty of american work ethic. i can t imagine living in a world where everything is just given to you. about fighting for it, working hard for and it making it happen. [applause] brian: we have the opportunity to pursue happiness. we don t guarantee the happiness. we just want to compete. you know, every day is a gift, you have got to get up every day and show up and make it happen. that s the difference between a capital liz stick society and socialistic society. i look at the failures around the world i want no part of that life for myself my children and ....
And my mother just finely retired a couple years ago and she, you know, they paid in to the system with taxes. i pay my taxes. i know how much, you know, deducted from my taxes for healthcare and all of that and i just don t agree that people come here get it for free or want it for free. brian: come here illegally by the way. california gives it for free. [applause] california is going to try to cover illegals with healthcare and not necessarily provide for their own people meanwhile we are seeing rats on the street with homeless people in california. it s a complete mess. so to karen s point, here is where i would say healthcare is a right. you have the right to go to an emergency room if you are sing or have a heart attack and get taken care of. guess. what the safety net. guess what? that s already the case in the united states. we have to take care of you. if you have an emergency. that s a right. it s not a right to have your lay sick surgery done. it s not. ....
They are helping themselves. exactly. brian: they don t know each other but helping each other out. like family feud all over again. last thing was it was they are taking jobs away from people in west arkansas. guess who is unhappy about that? unions? guess where unions vote democrats. guess who is for illegals most democrats. who here wants to weigh in? russell. hey russell, welcome. welcome. brian: where do you stand? i just don t know why the word illegal doesn t carry as much weight as it should. [applause] i m not against immigration i just wish it was done legally. i don t mind them getting their process but it needs to go through the process. brian: that s a great point. people try to simplify and say you don t like illegals. you don t like hispanics. you don t like people from africa or norway. it has nothing to do with that just go through the process. what about the people that are doing it right you? are making them look like fools. yeah. ....
Up. steve: earns? ainsley: works three jobs and he put himself through college and his goal was to put all three of us through college. that last day when my brother graduated we all celebrated we love him so much. he worked so hard. i cannot imagine if the government came in and said wayne, you worked very hard but give me half of that money because someone else who is sleeping in their bed all day and not working hard is going to take your money. brian: right now 45% of most of our paychecks go to the government anyway and they want to take more of it. meanwhile the good news is for people who don t think this country stray socialist nation it seems like america is sobering up. bernie sanders is steadily dropping in all the polls. brian: so candid i think i m going to get me a beer. that seemed to zoom her up in the polls. ainsley: now she is offering you can enter to win a beer ....
Ainsley: how would free healthcare truly affect our doctors and you the patient? brian: stand back, i m going to introduce dr. siegel. he is our medical contributor dr. siegel. medicare for all. we understand where people s heart is. they want to give medical coverage for everybody. but this is not reality, is it? not only that it s not really medicare. by the time you are done with it, you are looking at a system that s somewhere between medicare and medicaid number one. number two, you lose all the choice that you have under the current employer based healthcare system, which is covering over 170 million people. they are not going. brian: you can t have both? you can t have private and you can t have medicare for all. not under these plans you can t. ainsley: you can t choose your doctor. you can t choose your health insurance plan and doctor and where you go for care. you are dealing with narrow networks. they will muscle everybody in. ainsley: the government could send you to ....
