It happened just after 3 00 this afternoon when police say the sponded to a report of a car into ag at the consulate on gearyrd. Abc seven News Reporter j. R. Stone spoke to a witness and joins us live with the latest. J. R. Ahmed, this section of geary boulevard outside of the chinese consulate has been roped off with this yellow crime scene tape now for many hours as investigators are busy at work. I just talked with the man by the name of sergey who was inside when that car came crashing into the consulate. He said that he was just there trying to get his visa. So he can go visit china. Synagogues, Community Groups and israelis in the bay area are banding together to fundraise and build support. Many of them have direct ties, of course, to friends and family in israel who have been killed, taken hostage or injured.
