Pacific Foods donates 35 truckloads of soup to Oregon Food Bank
In an effort to respond to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and an earlier response to help out those affected by the devastating Oregon wildfires, Tualatin-based Pacific Foods has donated 35 truckloads of soup and broth to the Oregon Food Bank.
The donation of the 320 tons of products, which began last October, is equivalent to 533,300 meals, according to company officials.
Pacific Foods, which specializes in organic, shelf-stable products, has had a 20 year relationship with Oregon Food Bank, donating more than 9.2 million pounds of food over that time. ....
