Dr Nomafrench Mbombo resigns

SABC News, Western Cape Health MEC, Dr Nomafrench Mbombo resigned as the DA Women’s Network Federal leader– a position she has held since 2018 – on Wednesday, 28 April 2021.
Dr Mbombo joins a long line of DA leaders who chose to step down from their roles, including Mmusi Maimane, Herman Mashaba, Nosimo Balindlela, Lindiwe Mazibuko, and now Bonginkosi Madikizela
.
DA in the Western Cape confirmed Mbombo’s resignation, explaining that she will remain on the provincial cabinet as Health MEC, according to provincial chairperson Jaco Londt.
“I can confirm that Mbombo has resigned as the DA’s Women’s Network Federal (leader), her deputy, Arlene Adams, will step in and attend meetings”. ....
