Those barricades have been lowered now. The cops with the long guns have receded, and again people are walking about. Now, this happened, as you mentioned, around 2 45 when a man goes into the capitol Visitors Center, he goes through a metal detector. It goes off. Apparently he pulls out a gun, points the gun, and then Capitol Police officer opens fire and shoots him. He was taken to the hospital. His exact condition right now is unknown, but that is what sparked the lockdown here, the shelt ....
