If you knew John, you would understand why I say that. And he knew many people in our community during his long life.
My friend John died last November at the age of 78, only six months after COVID claimed the life of his twin brother David. The tributes posted on John s online legacy page tell a story of a life well lived.
John was a people person, and the tributes show how he channeled his energy and his interests in ways that benefited the lives of others. They come from former students. He taught 6th graders at Sartell Middle School for decades, and he coached Knowledge Bowl and Academic Triathlon. ....
