Whangārei-based MP and National Party deputy leader Shane Reti hopes to bring his colleagues to Northland for a caucus retreat another year. (File photo) As his colleagues expressed excitement in coming to Whangārei, Reti was hopeful the event could be held in Whangārei next year or in subsequent years. Other events to be shelved include a Medieval Madness carnival planned for Saturday at Whangārei’s Kiwi North museum. Also postponed is Te Taitokerau Regional Trade Hui planned for Kerikeri on February 2 and food and entertainment event Carnival on the Bridge planned for Whangārei on February 27.
