Amid changing details, public hearing on proposed solar arrays in Northfield to continue

NORTHFIELD While the Planning Board initially intended to meet April 1 for a potential vote on three proposed dual-use solar arrays off of Pine Meadow Road, the meeting was delayed at the applicant’s request and the public hearing process will continue to discuss potential changes to the site design plan.
Planning Board Chair Stephen Seredynski explained one reason the developer, Boston-based BlueWave Solar, requested a change of date and to continue presenting its plans for the proposed solar project is that the company is waiting on permission from Eversource regarding a new pole placement that may decrease the project’s visual impact on neighboring properties. ....
