Take a look at this radar. tropical storm alex is gaining strength. now there s a hurricane watch issued for the coast of south texas and northeastern mexico. it s track from yucatan headed for the texas/mexico border. forecasters say maximum sustained winds this morning were 60 miles an hour. of course the question is what kind of wave action might that bring to the area around the gulf oil spill. and the honest answer right now is nobody knows. and this has been aunpr unpredictable storm. so the hurricane watches that just been activated and we re keeping an eye on this very closely. it s hard to imagine it s already day 70 of the gulf oil disaster and of course the oil is still spilling. bp has sprayed nearly 1.5 million gallons of dispersant ....
