Fredericksburg ISD bus driver dies following crash By FOX 7 Austin Digital Team Published  FREDERICKSBURG, Texas - A Fredericksburg ISD school bus driver has died following a crash Wednesday afternoon, says Fredericksburg police. FPD says that officers were dispatched to the crash just before 4 p.m. on May 12 in the 900 block of North Milam Street. Police say the bus was traveling southbound when the driver apparently had a medical emergency. The bus struck several parked and unattended vehicles along the street. One of those vehicles that were pushed struck a business. FPD says there were no apparent serious injuries to any of the students on the bus or anyone inside the business. All of the students parents and guardians have been notified.

Several water suppliers lift boil notices

Several Central Texas water suppliers have lifted boil water notices although some are still in effect. Boil notices issued Feb. 17 by O&E Water Supply Corp. and East Bell County Water Supply were both rescinded Wednesday. The suppliers said tests showed boiling water was no longer necessary after the system took corrective actions. The city of Cameron lifted its boil order Tuesday, City Manager Rhett Parker said in an email. Belton-based Dog Ridge Water Supply Corp. said its boil notice issued on Friday was rescinded Tuesday after testing showed the system took corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality. The results were sent to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
