“I know where I want to be,” Tilleman said. “If God wants me at NIC, I’ll be there. If not, I will not be there. Right now, I’ve got my mind set on being home with my kids.”
Tilleman takes over for Kelsey Stanley, who resigned on April 3 after nine seasons as coach. Stanley, who took a job outside of athletics, was 187-87 and led the Cardinals to fourth in the conference this season with a 27-6 record.
