The 6,500-square-foot shopping space, located within West Edmonton Mall, is the first “dedicated presence” for the brand in Alberta’s capital city.
The recent store opening is one of several moves made by the Italian fashion company to further its presence in Canada, according to Susan Chokachi, the president and CEO of Gucci North America.
“We see an opportunity in Canada to expand Gucci’s brand story and deepen our roots, not only by reinforcing our flagship markets as we have and will continue to do, but also by expanding the Gucci brand to new and dynamic cities,” Chokachi explains.
