RVS awarded place on new HGV framework for electric vehicle conversions
Refuse Vehicle Solutions Ltd (RVS) has been awarded a place on a new HGV and Specialist Vehicle Procurement and Contract Hire Framework 2020 (LOT 2 and LOT 5) for the provision of electric vehicle drivetrain conversion systems, ranking highest in this category for electric refuse vehicle conversion.
The framework is the result of a tendering exercise by The Procurement Partnership Ltd (TPPL) in partnership with the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) and will run until January 2025. LOT 5 of the framework covers vehicle design, conversion, servicing, warranty, maintenance and training.
RVS launched its e-One electric repowering solution in October 2020 in partnership with Dutch electric power train developers EMOSS to convert diesel refuse vehicles into electric vehicles in the UK. ....
