The state has OK’d an incentive to get the COVID-19 vaccination: an alcoholic beverage, free of charge.
The Liquor and Cannabis board announced Monday that liquor-licensed businesses may offer one alcoholic drink to customers showing proof of vaccination.
The allowance is effective through June 30th and is optional.
The business may provide the drink free of charge or a non-industry sponsor may pay for the drink.
KGMI is broadcasting live from the North County Vaccination Party Pop-up Clinic on Wednesday, where vaccine recipients will be offered a beverage from one of the many Ferndale businesses.
