The Sea Tow Foundation the nonprofit founded in 2007 by Sea Tow founder Capt. Joe Frohnhoefer has opened the nomination process for membership to its North American Sober Skipper Advisory Council.

said in a statement that council members have provided highly valuable insight regarding best practices and safety initiatives in recreational boating.
“The North American Sober Skipper Advisory Council has worked tirelessly to successfully raise awareness of boating safety,” said Kulp. “Their active engagement in promoting boating safety within their respective organizations while actively supporting other national initiatives has positively impacted and boosted awareness of boating safety efforts.”

Fell Marine was the winner in the Top Gear and Equipment Manufacturer category of the National Boating Industry Safety Awards, the Sea Tow Foundation and its North American Sober Skipper Advisory Council
The
Sea Tow Foundation said Fell Marine was awarded for information on its website that educates boaters on how to install and use a man-overboard device.
“Fell Marine’s work to improve boater safety year after year proves to be an amazing experience for the entire team,” said Fell Marine spokesman William Schwarz. “Working with many different marinas, law enforcement agencies and marine safety groups has been a rewarding opportunity as we continue to work to provide better marine safety equipment for all boaters.”

The Sea Tow Foundation announced the winners of its National Boating Industry Safety Awards at the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas virtual Dealer Week.
The awards held in conjunction with its North American Sober Skipper Advisory Council and sponsored by Kicker Marine Audio honor boating safety efforts from the previous year.
With six winners, it is the largest awards held to date by the Sober Skipper Advisory Council.
Sea Ray Boats was bestowed with the award for top powerboat manufacturer for the second consecutive year.
