Official: Ford Evos Not Coming To America

Needless to say, we re disappointed.
The Ford Evos, a wagon-like crossover developed entirely in China, debuted at Auto Shanghai this week with an extremely cool widescreen display measuring 3.6 feet and bold exterior styling that d make anyone reconsider a Ford Edge crossover. Will the Evos come to the US as a Fusion/Edge replacement? After all, it s been rumored the Edge will be dropped after the current generation is retired. The short and final answer is no.
The question regarding the Evos potential US and European market feature was posed to Ford s North American Product Communications chief Mike Levine on Twitter, and his response was quite clear. ....

Such is the hype surrounding the reinvented Ford Bronco family that we haven’t even seen the first deliveries of the 2-Door and 4-Door models for the 2021 model year, and already the rumor mill runs rampant about the 2022 Bronco.

According to the latest intel, the first examples of the 2021 Bronco will reach their intended customers (most likely in the great-looking First Edition attire) sometime this June, after the Blue Oval allegedly kicks off production on May 3rd.
The company offers an extensive color palette for the 2021MY, including the cool-looking (but sadly exclusive) Lightning Blue that should provide great contrast to the recently showcased Black Onyx First Edition interior. Still, there are many other popular shades that so far haven’t made their way onto the company’s Build & Price online configurator tool. ....
