(WJXT) JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two federally-supported vaccination sites reopened at 9 a.m. Sunday to give second doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. The satellite sites at Carver Recreational Center located at 777 5th Ave. S. in Jacksonville Beach and Oceanway Community Center located at 12215 Sago Ave. W. on the Northside will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to administer second-dose shots to those who received the first dose at those sites.

They will remain open, offering second doses, for 10 days, until April 14. The sites will open tomorrow at 9 a.m. Sunday and give out vaccines until 5 pm. They’re open seven days a week.

Vaccination sites open at 2 new locations in Duval County Federal satellite sites move to Carver & Oceanway centers for 10 days Updated:  Tags:  Two vaccination centers run by the Federal Emergency Management Agency opened Sunday morning in Duval County. The satellite sites moved from the Westside and Northwest Jacksonville to the Carver Center on 5th Avenue South in Jacksonville Beach and the Oceanway Center on Sago Avenue West on the Northside. According to FEMA, the sites will open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for 10 days through March 23. The sites will offer the Pfizer vaccine, and up to 500 shots can be administered a day at each site.
