The primary and secondary school were in kentucky. I did get a High School Diploma from kentucky. What school in. Whit lee county high school. When did you graduate . I got my diploma in 1959. 1959. I left that school i guess 1948. 48. You joined the army . Joined the army. Went to japan in june of 1948. Wow. I joined the first cavalry division. Youre the first cavalry . Yeah. Thats a little west of yokahama. Stayed there for about a year. When the 7th infantry moved out of korea in 1949 i joined the 7th infantry division. I think they had been in korea for an extended period of time. You joined the 7th . Yes. What was your specialty . Were you infantry . Infantry. And just rifleman or heavy machine gun . Rifle man. I was a squad leader and parttime platoon s ....
