with norm ializing donald trump. when he came to the podium, he couldn t help but being himself. some of his jokes were good. the pardon me joke was good, the melania joke was good, but he could not stop himself from being a huge jerk. it s maybe hard to i don t know, get an a plus at these kinds of things. there are older conservative people, not exactly like a great comedy crowd. but it s not that hard to tell jokes. you can t halfway through your speech give up on jokes and start insulting your opponent. and it was good to see the audience, which, as you said is pretty conservative start to boo him. it s like the tradition pushing back. that was like the big take away to me. hillary did fine and had some good lines. but for the most part, it was this awful display of donald trump, the worst man our country has produced in half a century saying i deserve the same
