MANILA - The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Tuesday warned the public against phishing attempts using platforms connected with the agency. "The DOLE warns the public against unverified and illegitimate online transactions or platforms claiming to be affiliated with the Department using the PhilJobNet and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) brands, and subsequently asking its registrants to deposit money in exchange for 'commissions'," the DOLE said in a press statement. It also advised the public that there is no registration fee or commission fee given to registrants of the PhilJobNet, the government's online platform that matches job seekers with job postings/ employers.
