That is one of the main findings in a new report from the management consulting firm McKinsey & Company, which for the first time turned its attention to the lack of Black representation in Hollywood. My 2016 calculations show that since 1985 blacks get acting Oscar nominations in almost exact proportion to their share of the Anglosphere’s population.
