Following the magnitude 7.6 earthquake that hit Ishikawa Prefecture on Monday afternoon, Japan s Meteorological Agency has downgraded all tsunami warnings along the Sea of Japan to advisories as of 1:15 AM, while continuing to urge residents to stay alert.
At least 55 deaths have been reported as of Wednesday morning following the magnitude 7.6 earthquake that struck at around 4:10 PM Monday in Shika Town, Ishikawa Prefecture, with the Mayor of Suzu City revealing that in the heavily affected areas, about 90% of the buildings are either completely or nearly destroyed.

Dell EMC PowerEdge R6525 SCS deployed by JAIST is a cluster-type supercomputer system in which 280 Dell EMC PowerEdge R6525 servers with the latest AMD processors are connected by a high-speed interconnect network InfiniBand HDR. Compared to the previous system the performance of new system improved significantly; the theoretical operation performance increased about 2.24 times to 1.49 PFLOPS, the number of CPU cores increased about 1.8 times to 35,840 cores, and the total memory capacity doubled to about 140 TiB.
