He was all in. All the time. He lived ate slept and breathed this job. Reporter lieutenant matthew latourneau took his last breath doing what he loved, trying to help others, during a north philadelphia house fire this past saturday, two alarms on a bitter cold morning, the floor caved in and latourneau died. Friday his casket loaded on to engine 45, his companys truck , 11 year veteran surrounded by his brothers and sisters of the Philadelphia Fire Department, arrived at basilica cathedral of saints peter and paul. Funeral mass attended by hundreds. Even azamat math becomes part of our storied past i will always be with us, in the future. Reporter all remembering a hero who gave his life protests others. He has gonna head and joined a company of other heroes and there is no doubt that they are working their way, down that smokey hallway making it safe, for the rest of us. Reporter
