Man charged in fatal shooting of Jason Kutt, 18, at Nockamixon State Park in Bucks County, Pennsylvania

QUAKERTOWN, Pennsylvania (WPVI) A man has been charged in the fatal shooting of a Bucks County, Pennsylvania teenager at Nockamixon State Park.
On Wednesday, Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub announced that Kenneth Troy Heller, 52, of Warminster, has been charged with criminal homicide and other related charges in connection with the shooting.
According to authorities, the shooting happened around 5:15 p.m. on October 24 near the Old Ridge Road entrance to the park in Quakertown. Jason Kutt was watching the sunset at Lake Nockamixon when he was fatally shot.

An investigation is underway after an 18-year-old high school graduate was shot and killed while watching the sunset with his girlfriend at a state park in Bucks County. Authorities on Wednesday announced the arrest of a 52-year-old man in the deadly October shooting of 18-year-old Jason Albert Kutt in Nockamixon State Park.
Kenneth Troy Heller, 52, of Warminster, surrendered to authorities on Dec. 30, Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub said.
Clearly this isn’t a perfect ending,” he said. “Perfect would mean we have Jason back. But that’s just not how real life works, that’s not how criminal justice works, so this isn’t even really a happy ending, but it is a fair and a just and a final ending.”
Kutt, of Sellersville, was sitting with his girlfriend at the edge of the lake near the Old Ridge Road access to the park waiting for the sun to set with his girlfriend around 5:15 p.m. on Oct. 24. ....

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - A hunter accused of fatally shooting an 18-year-old last October in Nockamixon State Park has turned himself in and is expected to plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter and related charges, prosecutors announced Wednesday.
Bucks County DA Matt Weintraub named 52-year-old Kenneth Heller as the man who is believed to have fatally shot Jason Kutt in the back of the head on Oct. 24 near the Old Ridge Road exit. Kutt, a recent graduate of Pennridge High School, died at the hospital two days later. ....
