[applause] martha: that was a stand up and clap moment there. that was president obama back in 2009 promising an unprecedented oversight of the stimulus package. a new report is indicating there were stunning cracks in that system. a senate hearing is set to get underway on capitol hill and lawmakers are demanding to know why so-called tax deadbeats, companies and none profits who had not made taxes were turned around and given lucrative stimulus contracts worth billions of dollars. 3700 contractors were given stimulus money even though they owed collectively $750 million in back taxes. that seems odd, right? one company got more than $1 million in stimulus money even though it owed twice that in back taxes. do you think you and i would be treated this way? it seems unbelievable, doesn t it? let s bring in steve moore, ....
