sort of the original freedom-loving population but we re not leading the way right now when it comes to resisting top-down elite mandates. think about the power the common man has. what will justin trudeau do eventually? will he send in the military? not enough ottawa police or tow truck companies. sound like the tow truck companies are resisting hauling away the truckers. harris: well, they re trucks. you better have a big tow truck. what will he do, send in the military to break up the protest? even if he did that how does he pick up the slack in the supply chain? will the military deliver the goods and services across canada the truckers are supposed to be doing on a daily basis? this is the power. you know, you bring it back to the united states of america, we do not know the power that
we hold over the people that would like to lord their power over us. ultimately these elites are a minority. radical minority in their ideas but still in the united states of america the power rests with the people. it will be interesting to see when the american people lead the way. harris: everybody has a visceral reaction to that great grandpa being hauled off by the canadian police and you say what is justin trudeau going to do? if he does too much of that it could get interesting. truckers are honking their horns and now they re being silenced. you know what? tammy bruce and i got into this, will. i thought of you as she was speaking and you made a similar point. she made the point about the freedom convoy protest in comparison to the protests here in the united states. just watch and listen. i think we saw the inkling of that with the school board meetings and parents. that was the same dynamic
protests but accept i guess when it disagrees with what he believes. we re not trying to remove democracy we re following it. harris: things are getting ugly. this shows an ottawa police officer wrestling a 78-year-old great grandfather to the ground for honking his horn in support of the truckers. he was taken away in cuffs and given a ticket. now they haul away grandpa. what is happening in canada could actually happen here. politico is reporting that a so-called people s convoy of truckers is expected to converge in california by early march. they are shooting for march 4th which is a friday going into the first weekend of march before making its way to washington they will go coast to coast. but the white house is appearing to shrug any of the potential disruptions off. watch. this white house have any
it sounds pandering and become more so obvious the divide between the common man and elite. in canada you see the rising of the blue collar worker the common man. these people are not anti-vax or not necessarily republicans. not necessarily conservative. these are people that individuals should retain the right of choice and they are resisting a top-down approach to their life fro the elites who tell them what they should think and hear and what they should submit to in terms of mandates. that s not limited to canada, harris. that could easily come right here to the united states and take place in the u.k. we see it on the streets across europe. here is the thing, harris, ask yourself this. how does it end? we can discuss where does it go? how does it end? what happens? harris: look to canada for soeft answer.
