Bangladesh is purchasing 30 million doses of Oxford-Astrazeneca vaccine ‘Covishield’ produced by Serum Institute of India (SII) through Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Besides, India will give two million ‘Covishield’ vaccines as a gift for Bangladesh. As per a tripartite agreement, Serum Institute of India will send 30 million vaccines to Bangladesh in six phases. The first consignment is expected to arrive by January 26. ....
