Three Structures Destroyed, As Wildfire Burns In Torrance County Share Updated: 8:24 PM MDT Apr 24, 2021 Sam Smith Evacuations are still in place along Vigil Road in Torrance County, and three structures have burned, as a wildfire continues to burn near Route 66 and Vigil Road.A spokesperson with the New Mexico State Forestry Division says an estimated 40 acres have burned in the Paradise Loop Fire, with 30 percent containment. A number of structures are still threatened, as crews plan to work overnight in an effort to get the fire under control.
