Nissan launches LEAF EV in Philippines for P2.8 million May 12, 2021 5:26 PM PHT Nissan on Sunday, May 9, launched its flagship full-battery electric vehicle (EV), the Nissan LEAF in the Philippines for P2.8 million. The car is the first fully electric vehicle that Nissan is bringing to local shores. There have been hybrid cars launched in the Philippines in the past, but mass market EVs have been rare. Nissan announced the LEAF will be available in 3 dealerships: Nissan Mantrade Makati, Nissan Otis, and Nissan Cebu South - V. Rama. These dealerships will be equipped with charging stations for the LEAF. Four more dealerships will be fitted with a charging station within the year. This, Nissan says, will create the largest nationwide EV charging station in the country.

The Leaf lands: Nissan s flagship full-electric car now available in PH

MANILA:Nissan Philippines has officially released its flagship full-electric vehicle (EV), the Nissan Leaf. Along with the EV’s launch, Nissan has revealed that it is establishing seven charging stations across the country through its dealerships. The development of the zero-emission Nissan Leaf is part of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, a program that aims to transform the way cars are driven and integrated into society. The Nissan Leaf concretizes this philosophy in three aspects: Intelligent Power, Intelligent Driving, and Intelligent Integration. The Nissan Leaf comes with a 40kWh lithium-ion battery can travel  up to 311 kilometers on a full charge according to the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) standards. This makes the car able to travel between Quezon City and Bonifacio Global City twice a day for five days or complete a one-way trip to Baguio without having to recharge.
