Search continues for woman missing in Comeragh mountains Landowners urged to search property for runner last heard from on Sunday afternoon about 3 hours ago
Rescue teams are asking for landowners to search their land on the Comeragh mountain range for a female mountain runner who has been missing for almost 24 hours. The female runner, understood to be in her 40s, was last seen or heard from at about 12.45pm on Sunday. She was due to return from her run on the Coumshingaun Loop trail near the Tipperary-Waterford border at 2pm. When her husband did not hear from her he alerted emergency services at 3pm. ....

The 37 year old was last seen at around quarter to one on Sunday. She was due to return from her run along the Coumshingaun Loop trail at 2pm but when her husband did not hear from her he alerted emergency services at 3pm. South East Mountain Rescue and the rescue helicopter RII7 were alerted yesterday at around 3pm and continued their search this morning at 7am for the woman with assistance from Civil Defence, the Search and Rescue Dog Association and members of other mountain rescue teams. ....
