They would tell people they were in the neighborhood conducting an energy audit. Then they would ask to see to the persons energy bill to make sure they werent overpaying. Investigators say Charles Burnette and Emma Haumesser forced a man to withdraw money from a t ms in boone county. The man was staying at the quality inn near the airport.
