Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse announces last day on the job; Todd McGee will become acting mayor

HOLYOKE Mayor Alex B. Morse will leave office March 26 to take on his new job as the town manager in Provincetown.
City Council President Todd McGee will serve as acting mayor until new mayor is elected to a full term.
“As of Friday, March 26, 2021, at 4:30 p.m., I will no longer be Mayor of Holyoke,” Morse wrote in an email Monday. “Upon my departure, City Council President Todd McGee will become acting Mayor for the duration of my term.”
He added, “Please note that both Nilka Ortíz and Andrés Villada, longtime staff in the Mayor’s Office, will remain in the office at least through November of this year.” ....
