The Philippines was ranked 33rd in the Covid-19 Recovery ranking by Tokyo-based news magazine Nikkei Asia.

The Philippines improved its ranking in the Tokyo-based news magazine Nikkei Asia COVID-19 recovery rankings, moving to 33rd place from December 2021's 57th place.

Dizon said the Philippines is now ahead of Australia, the United States, Thailand, Singapore, Germany, and Vietnam, based on infection control, vaccination, and social mobility amid the pandemic.
