Reporter she was watching her 2 daughters play with their 3yearold next door neighbor when this pit bull got away from the owner, woman seen her here. It was obvious the dog was walking the owner. Reporter the dog named blue was on a long leash and pounced on the little girl putting her head and neck in its mouth. I dont think the dog meant to hurt her. It was more like trying to play but it is so big and powerful and the owner had no control over the dog. Reporter may carson watched from her window as the little girl father jumped into action. The dad grabbed his leg around the dog neck and pulled her. She is so small and the dog is so huge that it just cut her face and her head. The dog has escaped from the owner before. She you could to the ambulance with nonlife threatening injuries. I just thank god that he was there because if he wasnt there, tl i dont know who could have gotten the dog off of her. Neighbors said owner tried to leave the scene but the father kept her there until
