The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Kebbi State Chapter joined their counterpart across the country to stage a peaceful protest to the State House of Assembly today in compliance with the directive from the National Body of the Union over the planned removal of national minimum wage from exclusive to concurrent list and the establishment of State Judiciary.
The protest which started from the Labour House at about 10.am to the House of Assembly Complex was strictly monitored by men of the Nigeria Police and Department of State Security (DSS).
Addressing the Lawmakers, the State Chairman of NLC Halidu Umar Alhassan stated that if matter is implemented, it will compound the problems of workers across the country which will eventually plunge the country into anarchy. ....
