THE Philippine Association of Japanese Government Scholars (Philajames)-Mindanao Chapter, an organization of scholars who successfully finished their program in different fields in prestigious universities all over Japan, partnered with the Department of Education (Deped)-Davao in providing mathematics learning materials to public school students.
With its commitment to serve as a bridge to strengthen the good relationship between Japan and the Philippines through its various programs and activities, Philajames-Mindanao donated Sansusetto (number set), a set of Japanese manipulatives which has been used by Japanese teachers in primary level to strengthen conceptual understanding of the learners in Mathematics, to identified beneficiary schools. These Japanese manipulatives were donated by some public schools in Akita in collaboration with Akita University, Japan, through the initiative of Professor Du Wei, p ....
