the creative director on the stickers. thank you, to all coming out. and i m very happy to support this. thank you, supervisor farrell. again, i just wanted to thank everybody, as everyone has already said. while our office was really happy to carry this through to implementation and bring it to the full board this legislation really came through the input of residents and advocates. you had worked on this issue for years before i had even come into the office and i m happy to bring this forward to the full board. i think they are some really good fixes within our public health code that will provide us more information and the data that we need to effectively utilize the resources that we do have to combat bed bug infestation in the city. not just by complaints, but by pest control operator abatement will help us understand the scope of this throughout the city of san francisco. i did have a number of amendments, which i had articulated prior to public comment and i was

[ applause ] next speaker. hi. my name is kathy galvez, i wanted to show people what it looks like to be attacked by bed bugs. see all of these marks here on my arm? let me see if i can turn it around so you can see. let me see where the camera is? we can see it. thank you. and i got them on my legs, my arms, my back and they hit me on my head. and i didn t know what to do so i notified management. they sent an email to the owners of and nothing has happened exempt i have been harassed since friday of last week. my slipping through the cracks part, your legislation is aimed at other than where i am living. i have been evicted from my house for 40 years and i m living at travel lodge hotel, a choice place. so you are not going to tourist places, but people that live there, if they stay in san francisco, they end up going to other places and if they have bed bugs in their luggage or something, they are br

and there needs to be more connection between the station and the community and making sure that when we are evaluating whether we re going to be redesigning the different buildings in the area around the balboa park station. that they support the needs not just of the community to make sure that pedestrians are safe and make sure traffic isn t overimpacted, but there are a lot of needs of students at city college of san francisco that aren t able to find housing. i personally didn t have housing for a period of time in san francisco and if we re going to be look at redeveloping the area and making sure it s a safe place and if there is potential to create more of a high density neighborhood. so that people don t have to drive in the area. that that make it a better, safer, more walkable community considering we re a transit-first city. i have also worked in public transit and worked in the school district government. so i hopefully you kindly consider my appointment to seats
